Amy Biedel
Amy Biedel is new to the Northwest having moved here with
her husband from Provo, UT. Recently she appeared as Sally Talley in
The Rep's production of
Talley's Folly.
Amy is a graduate of Brigham Young University
where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and Media Arts
with an emphasis on Acting. Favorite roles at BYU include Grusha,
Caucasian Chalk Circle; Bella, Rags; Cinderella;
Into the Woods. Regional performances include Ariel,
Voyage of the Little Mermaid (Disney/MGM Studios Florida);
Gypsy Rose Lee, Gypsy (Robert Redford's Sundance Summer Theater);
Henrietta, Robert and Elizabeth (SCERA Summer Theater
Orem, UT); Anne, Merry Wives of Windsor (Actor's Repertory
Theater Ensemble Provo, UT); Woman, Turn of the Screw
(Actor's Repertory Theater Ensemble); Narrator, Joseph…Dreamcoat
(August Night Theater Group Salt Lake City, UT); Joanna, Big River
(Jackson Hole Playhouse
Jackson, Wyoming); Mattie, Days of '98 (Skagway, Alaska).
Amy is currently working as an Admissions Representative for ITT Technical Institute
in Portland. Amy's favorite things are her family, her faith and the
performing arts. She enjoys joining her husband at concerts throughout the
region and is grateful that he is willing to sacrifice a few in order for her
to work with The Rep.
