Harold Phillips
Harold Phillips serves as Operations Director for Mt. Hood Repertory
Theatre Company. Harold received his
BA in Drama from the University of Portland. He also studied at the
University of Alaska at Anchorage and Western Washington University.
His local appearances include Lorenzo in The Gift of Speech (Ellen West
Productions), Terrance O'Keefe in Breaking Legs
(Sylvia's Class Act Dinner Theatre);
Kim Feston in Search and Destroy
(Brian Young Productions); Mowbray/ Bishop in King Richard III
and Sebastian in The Tempest (Tygres Heart Shakespeare Company);
Leonato in Much Ado About Nothing (Portland Actors Ensemble);
Charlie Fox in Speed The Plow (Paula Productions); and Aurellio in
La Posada (Miracle Theatre).
He's best known to Mt. Hood Rep audiences for his portrayal of
E.K. Hornbeck in 2002's Inherit the Wind, and
he's appeared in several readers theatre productions over
the past few years. Harold has also been trained by the
Society of American Fight Directors as a stage combatant and fight
choreographer. In addition he is the creator of PDXOnstage, an online Portland
Theatre Resource web site (http://www.pdxonstage.com), and
he serves as webmaster for mthoodrep.org.
