Maggie Chapin
Maggie Chapin, a native of the Willamette Valley, started
her acting career close to home appearing in productions at
Oregon City High School,
Clackamas Community College, and eventually
Western Oregon University.
After finishing her BA in theatre from WOU, Ms. Chapin sought more training
in acting performance. She received her MFA in theatre performance from the
University of
Nevada, Las Vegas Conservatory Acting Program. While in
Nevada, she had the opportunity to work with the Nevada
Conservatory Theatre, performing in such roles as Lil' Bit
in How I Learned to Drive, Doreen in Tartuffe,
Miss Jane in Floyd Collins, Liz in Our Country's Good
and many others. Ms. Chapin had the opportunity to work with
Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Wole Soyinka on the world
premire of his play Oyedipo at Kolhuni which opened in
Delphi Greece. Maggie is very happy to be back in the northwest
and excited to be a new member of the wonderful theatre community
here.
