Marty Gallagher
Marty returns to Mount Hood Rep after his successful Sound Design for
Farenheit 451, which won a Silver Medal for the United States at
the World Stage Design
conference in Toronto, Canada. He was also Sound Designer for 2004's
You Can't Take It With You and
The Return of Sunday Night By The Philco. He works
in the five Western states, and he's worked with every
significant theatre company in Portland. He creates sound
designs and synthesizer programming for the
Portland Opera.
He is a featured presenter for
The United States Institute of Theatre Technology, and is the author of
"Wireless Microphones In the Theatre",
an interactive CD-ROM. He is a judge
and keynote speaker for
The Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.
