Randy Patterson
Randy has appeared in 8 of the 9
American Classics Theatre Festivals for Mt. Hood Repertory Theatre Company.
In 2005, he played Diamond Louis in
The Front Page. Other roles
for MHRT include Harry Brock in
Born Yesterday, the Reverend Jeremiah Brown
in Inherit the Wind, Mr. Stanley in The Man who Came to
Dinner, Wilson in Harvey, and a member of the
ensemble in Thurber Carnival and
Sunday Night By The Philco.
A seasoned entertainer, Randy has been performing
professionally for nearly 30 years. Most recently Randy has
been seen as the General in Lorca in a Green Dress for
Miracle Theatre
(winner of the 2004 - 2005
Drammy Award for Outstanding Production), and filled in as Willy Loman
in Death of a Salesman at
Artists' Rep. Some of Randy's favorite
roles include Gene in The Author's Voice, Wild Bill Hickok
in Indians, Norman in The Boys Next Door, Sepp
Schmitz in The firebugs, and Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Randy has done a great deal of voice-over work, having done commercials
for OMSI, Fred Meyer,
The Bite, and numerous
other advertisers. Doing Character voices for Will Vinton was (and still is) a
highlight in Randy's career. Also, Randy had a segment on KGW
talk radio, The Perry Report, where he talked about the highlights of
Perry Mason from the previous week.
