Saren Nofs-Snyder (Kate) is celebrating her one year anniversary as a Portland resident. In the past year, she has been seen at Lakewood Theatre as Janice in Italian American Reconciliation and as May in Once in a Lifetime, a role which earned her a Drammy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role. She also appeared at Stark Raving Theatre in the first annual Cold Comedy Concoction, and as Lady Macbeth in Macbeth for Quintessence. Regionally she has worked for Pioneer Theatre Company (Utah), Missouri Repertory Theatre, the Utah Greek Theatre Festival, an the Tony Award winning Utah Shakespearean Festival as Celia in As You Like It and Myrtle May in Harvey. Some favourite roles include Hermione in The Winter's Tale, Nan/Lina in Three Days of Rain and Jean in Ecstasy. Saren earned a BFA in acting from the University of Utah, and an MFA in acting from the University of Missouri, Kansas City.
